The singlecut is available as a bolt on, thru neck or set neck design. The set neck construction consists of a neck pocket in the body that ends close to where the front pickup is mounted. The neck blank is glued into this pocket, the end of the fingerboard machined to shape and the top fits over the neck end and around the rebate, bit of a jigsaw puzzle, but the neck is captive inside the body and produces a very strong joint. The upper bout of the body continues to the 12th fret.

One of the advantages of this design is that the fingerboard and neck is kept rigidly flat and true from the 12th fret up, the neck relieves between the nut and 12th fret only, making it easy to achieve to correct setup.

Necks are multilaminates of maple and wenge, two way truss rods and fingerboards of Asian ebony, Macassar Ebony, composite and maple.

Also available as a hollowbody and with a setup similar to the Artist Basses, featuring a Schertler pickup in a roswood bridge unit. The magnetic version is available with piezo bridge pickups.

Variuos body woods, black walnut, African walnut, swamp ash, mahogany, figured maple and a huge choice of facing woods, burrs, maples, and exotics.
