Bass Woods
These are the woods we use to create the basses.
Most of the body woods are suitable for solid bodies or body sides on through necks as well as for bodies that are faced.
There is a large selection available for bass tops and this stock changes frequently so if you don't see the wood here we might be able to get hold of it.
Neck woods are picked for grain structure and stability. Traditional woods such as maple are used for most necks as are more exotic timbers such as wenge and paduak.
Quite a wide variety of woods are available for fingerboards, rosewoods, ebonies and maples as well as some 'different' ones.
